The Gothbench series is a collection of original background patterns and various other goodies to give your computer desktop a darker look and feel. It is completely free to share and enjoy, but please read the license agreement if you plan to use it for any sort of commercial purpose. This includes (ahem) shareware/freeware compilations. NOTE: Contact information in pre-gothbench4 packages is outdated, but I'm too lazy to fix this.

Windows users may find Wallpaper Changer incredibly handy. (And it's free as well.) Click here to download a precompiled list of all Gothbench patterns for Wallpaper Changer. It assumes that Gothbench has been installed "properly." (Patterns in c:\windows.) Extract gothbench.wpl from the zip file, and double-click on it, or load it from within the software. If you don't have all four versions, don't fret. The software will ignore the entries for the version(s) you don't have.

On the preview sheets, you can now click on a pattern preview to see it tiled full size. (Something I've wanted to do for a long time, and not nearly as tedious as it could have been, thanks to a couple of quick QBASIC programs I wrote, and batch JPEG conversion...)
